 In the article “Yeedi Vac Station review”, Cowton (2021) introduces the technical specifications and functionalities of the Yeedi Vac Station. The Yeedi Vac Station consists of a robot vacuum and a docking station. According to the author, the docking station has a 2.5 litre dust bag which can store debris for up to 30 days (Cowton, 2021). The Yeedi Vac Station is able to automatically empty the debris from the dustbin in the robot vacuum to the dust bag in the docking station. The article also states that the Yeedi Vac Station can be set up with a mobile application. In the article, it is said that the Yeedi Vac Station is not only able to map an entire floor layout, it could also separate the locations of rooms and furniture to avoid as well (Cowton,2021). According to the article, it has three suction power setting, namely standard, max and max+. Standard has a suction of 600Pa, max has a suction of 1500Pa and max+ has a suction of 3000Pa. There is an automatic boost mode to be used for carpets as well (Cowton ,2021). An additional feature mentioned in the article was that cleaning schedules and routes can be customized according to the user's preference (Cowton, 2021).

The features of the Yeedi Vac Station make it a more convenient robot vacuum than the Roomba 694. This is because the Yeedi Vac Station has a better navigation and mapping ability, a higher capacity of storing dust, and has a better suction ability on carpets. 

The Yeedi Vac Station is a more convenient robot vacuum than the Roomba 694 because of its navigation and mapping ability. In the article by Cowton (2021), the Yeedi Vac station is able to store a map of the floor layout on the mobile application. Because of the map, the robot can separate the locations of rooms and furniture to avoid. Moreover, it can be controlled to clean selected spaces (Cowton, 2021). However, the Roomba 694 is unable to do that. In an article by Ansaldo (2022), he stated that the Roomba 694 would navigate forward until it comes into contact with an object, only changing direction after that. Moreover, in an article by Denby (2022), she stated that she had to use her own vacuum to clean certain areas. As the Roomba 694 does not have the ability to navigate and map as intelligently as the Yeedi Vac Station, the Yeedi Vac Station is more convenient for users to clean specific areas without having to worry about the robot hitting any furniture too.

Not only that, the Yeedi Vac Station has a higher capacity of storing dust than the Roomba 694. This is because according to Cowton (2021), the Yeedi Vac Station has an internal dustbin capacity of 450ml. However, in an article by Alfaro, Jakab and Peroramas (2022), the Roomba 694 has an internal dustbin capacity of 350ml. Moreover, the Yeedi Vac Station has a 2.5 litre dust bag in the docking station which is able to store debris for up to 30 days when it self-empties its internal dustbin (Cowton, 2021). Because of the larger capacity to store dust, it can be used for a longer period of time before having to clear the debris collected in the dustbin.

The Yeedi Vac Station's superiority in convenience over the Roomba 694 is also proven by its suction ability on carpets. In an article by Alfaro, Jakab and Khong (2021), the Yeedi Vac Station could suck up 64% of large debris and 73% of small debris on high-pile carpets when its dustbin is empty. However, in the article "iRobot Roomba 694 Vacuum Review”, Alfaro et al (2022) stated that the Roomba 694 could only suck up 53% of large debris and 16% of small debris on high-pile carpets when its dustbin is empty. This is significantly lower than the Yeedi Vac Station. Since the Yeedi Vac Station has a higher suction capability on carpets than the Roomba 694, users who have carpets in their homes will feel that it is more convenient to use the Yeedi Vac Station over the Roomba 694.

However, the Yeedi Vac Station has a flaw. According to Cowton (2021), the Yeedi Vac Station has a large and heavy docking station. This makes it difficult to move the docking station and needs to be placed in an area with sufficient space. This is an inconvenience for people who have limited areas in their homes. Moreover, it would be troublesome to shift the docking station around if it is placed in an area that is not easily accessible. However, I believe that the many features of the Yeedi Vac Station are enough to outshine this flaw.

The Yeedi Vac Station's ability to map and navigate intelligently, internal dustbin capacity of 450ml and performance on high-pile carpets make the robot vacuum a convenient way for users to clean with less effort. These features are superior to the Roomba 694, which leads me to believe that the Yeedi Vac Station is a more convenient robot vacuum than the Roomba 694.
